Why do I need a personal shopper for makeup?
A personal shopper will prevent you from buying makeup that
you will never use or that is not right for you. It is very
easy to be confused by the sales assistant in some high end
makeup stores or makeup departments in a department stores.
That salesperson is in the store's "corner" selling
expensive items or slow to move items. I will be in your
corner, matching you, your budget, with the right makeup
for you and your wallet. Most importantly you will be shopping
with someone who is in the industry and will stand in between
you and the sales people so you do not
go home with products that you do not need or does not work with your skin. Bypass
that salesperson by hiring Colleen to shop with you for that
new look!

We will go shopping together to some of the most
suitable makeup stores to suit your budget. At each store I
will give you advice and try on some products to determine
whats suits you best after which we will return to my studio
for some refreshments and a full makeup application with your
new products. Minimum time of three hours should be allowed.

Why hire a professional makeup artist for your wedding day?
Often a bride will not think twice at hiring a professional
hairdresser to come to her house for her wedding day hairdo
and pay substantially for it, why not think the same way
about makeup? She might later regret her decision after seeing
the wedding pictures.
Remember that this is your big day and may be the only day
you ever have to be a complete princess. Enjoy, relax and let
other people do the work for you!
Includes:
One hour consultation with full makeup application at your
location or my studio. If you decide you would like to book
me for your special day I will waive the consultation fee
and take a deposit for the wedding date.
On the wedding day, I will travel to your preferred location
for your full wedding day makeup as well as any other members
of the wedding party.
Parties over 6 people who require makeup will require a second
makeup artist which I will provide free of charge.

Feeling stuck in a makeup rut?
Colleen will provide you with professional tips and tricks
that can break you out of your makeup rut. Discover how to

Colleen your own kit or collection for organization. Colleen
will show you how to use your existing make-up and what should
be tossed away. Have your questions answered about cosmetics
you purchased, took home and did not know what to do with.

Why do you need a professional makeup artist for headshots
or other photographic work?
It is essential that your makeup be compatible with the studio
lights and flash photography. A good makeup artist will enhance
your features with shading, highlighting and the use of colour
which will not look washed out under the strong lights. My
training at the Vancouver Film School in this area was second
to none. Added to that, my experience in this field guarantees
great photographs!

Two different makeup "looks" for headshots.
